Diana Lynn Bonds née Adkins, age 65, wife of the late Linzie Dillard "Bo" Bonds II, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, formerly Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Reading Hospital. Born on September 25, 1958, in Huntington, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Myrtle Louise and Forney Edward Adkins.

Diana moved to the Washington D.C. area after graduating from high school and spent most of her life in Aberdeen, MD. She retired as a secretary for the Federal Government after 35+ years of service. She truly embraced her Maryland identity, having a love for Maryland blue crabs and joined Bo as a big Baltimore Ravens fan.

Diana was a kind-hearted person with a soft spot for animals and had previously volunteered at animal shelters with her daughter, Linzie. She was particularly attached to her previous family cats, Butterscotch and Pixie, but also had a great love for their current cat, Baxter, and dogs, Gidget and Sadie. She also volunteered as a Girl Scout Troop Leader as Linzie was growing up.

Diana was a very kind and considerate person who was always worried about others before herself. She had an immense love for family and made sure she sent cards for every holiday, occasion and even just to show she was thinking of you. She even kept every card she received. She really loved her great nieces, and with her great sense of humor, enjoyed teasing her son-in-law. Moving to Pennsylvania a year ago to be with her daughter allowed her to become the "excited Grandma" to Archer who was the light of her life. She truly cherished the time she was able to spend with him every day.

Diana is survived by her daughter: Linzie Nichole Bonds Lewis, son-in-law: Joshua James Lewis; grandson: Archer Scott Lewis; sisters: Judy (the late Mervin "Buddy") Johnson, Donna (the late Dwain) Sloane and Retha (the late Dr. Francisco D. Sabado Jr. ) Sabado. She was preceded in death by her eldest sister: Wanda (the late Sambo) Adkins.
