Diana E. Swenson, age 81, wife of Carroll D. Swenson, of Paoli, PA, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 30, 1938 in Washington D.C., she was a daughter of the late James T. and Gladys (Ebersole) Baldwin.
Along with her husband, Diana Swenson, (a.k.a. Mom, Boo, Aunt Boo, Grammy Boo, Booey, Betsy, and The Goddess Diana), were the proud owners of Bonanza Sales, which was a Southeast Pennsylvania Tupperware Distributor. With over 55 years in the business, she influenced and trained thousands of consultants, and achieved the highest award(s) available in the industry. As one of the largest Tupperware businesses in the country, she and "Carl" had over $50 million in sales.
An anchor of her family, Diana and "Carl" looked forward to hosting two 50 member family reunions per year for nearly 50 straight years, as well as the many trips to the casinos. She was also known to win a few jitterbug dance contests!
In addition to her husband, Diana Swenson is survived by five children, Diana L. "DeeDee", wife of Wayne Dahl of Norristown, PA, Wendy K., wife of Robert White of Palm Harbor, FL, Karen S., wife of Michael Czajka of Phoenixville, PA, Alan D., husband of Denise Swenson of Collegeville, PA, and Jody L., wife of Louis Bocci of Pottstown, PA; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Donovan of Wernersville, PA and Patricia, wife of Richard Kingwell of Ocala, FL, brother-in-law William Hugo of Clinton, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Swenson was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Renee Dahl, and two sisters, Sally Wiker and Tink Hugo.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date - likely after Federal and State coronavirus social distancing limits are relaxed. Please continue to check back.
