Dolores (Strouse) Gifford, 85, wife of the late John C. Gifford, of Schwenksville, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Manatawny Manor, East Coventry. She was born on October 30, 1931 in Norristown to the late John and Frances (Weber) Strouse.

Mrs. Gifford had been employed in the Norristown Library and then as a clerk in the library at McNeil Laboratories, in Fort Washington, for a little over ten years until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Mrs. Gifford is survived by her children: John C. Gifford Jr., and his wife Ann, of Pottstown and Adrienne, wife of Charles O'Toole, of Tuckerton, NJ; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Gulph Christian Cemetery, 100 Matsonford Road, West Conshohocken. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronald Coulton. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Gifford's name to the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, P.O.
