Dolores A. Sakal, wife of the late Edward J. Sakal Sr., formerly of Royersford, PA passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Hearthstone at Amity. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Sophia (Tulish) O'Malley.

Mrs. Sakal was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. She retired after 27 years as an accountant from Ford Electronics in Lansdale. Mrs. Sakal was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Schwenksville. She was an avid reader, crafter, bingo and card player, and Eagles fan. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sakal is survived by two daughters, Sandra L., wife of Patrick F. Allison Sr. of Royersford, PA and Catherine M., wife of Peter Hunder Jr. of Upper Pottsgrove; three grandchildren, Edward J., husband of Allison Richards, Devon L. Allison, and Patrick F. Allison Jr.; two great-grandsons, Shane and Luke Richards; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sakal was preceded in death by one son, Edward J. Sakal, Jr, and five brothers, John, William, Frederick, Richard, and Thomas O'Malley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Deacon David M. Kubczak. Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, for the purposes of funding the new Parish Ministry Center, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
