Dolores C. (Whitney) Talley, 79, of Limerick, PA and formerly of Oaks, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of Carl L. Talley Sr.
She was born in Havertown, a daughter of the late Harry B. Sr. and Dorothy (Lyons) Whitney. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. In addition to being a homemaker, she also worked as a teachers’ aide.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Carl L. Jr. and his wife Kimberly, of Royersford; Michelle L. Petrecz and husband Christopher, of Limerick; sister, Florence Whitney Long and husband Leonard W., of Absecon, NJ; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a twin sister, Dorothy Scott, sisters: Katherine Mitchell and Nancy Rutter and brother Harry B. Whitney Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Ave. Phoenixville, PA, with her nephew, Rev. Norman Talley officiating. Calling time is from 9:30-10:30 AM. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
