Donald D. Burris, age 98, husband of the late Olive G. (Littlefield) Burris, of West Chester, PA, died early Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Wellington Terrace, West Chester, PA. Born on January 1, 1918 in Platteville, WI, he was a son of John W. and Helen (Millman) Burris. He received his Masters degree from the Minnesota School of Mines in Engineering. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Burris worked as Director of Commercial Roofing Services at CertainTeed for 33 years before retiring in 1982.

Mr. Burris is survived by Daughter, Mary G. (Donald) Kline of Phoenixville, PA; Sister, Mary D. Carthew of Calabash, NC; Grandson, Nicholas A. Casatelli; Two Granddaughters, Katherine A. Kline, Kristen G. Kline; Two Great-granddaughters, Arianna Casatelli, Gabriella Casatelli; Great-grandson, Jaiden Casatelli; Mr. Burris was pre-deceased by Son, Donald D. Burris, Jr., Brothers, John and James Burris, Sister, Margaret Umstead.
