Donald C. Mangialardi, age 71, husband of Jennifer C. (Taphorn) Mangialardi, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Seasons Hospice. Born on February 28, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Charles Q. and Irene (Lendvay) Mangialardi.

Mr. Mangialardi was a graduate of Father Judge High School, and attended Penn State Berks. Following his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving as a Green Beret in the 7th Special Forces as a combat Engineer. He worked as a manager for the Budd Company in Phoenixville, and would go on to serve as Vice President of the Polychem Division of the Budd Company. A history and civil war enthusiast, he was a man of great knowledge. He knew everything about everything, had a thirst for learning, and would always be able to answer any questions with the correct answer. He worked to create a CYO baseball league where he helped as a commissioner and coach. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren at their sporting events, gardening, cooking, and vacationing in the Outer Banks, NC.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Mangialardi is survived by five children, Robyn I., wife of Michael Spear of Phoenixville, PA, Donald C. Jr., husband of Tracy Mangialardi of Spring City, PA, Cindy E., wife of Andrew Shank of Phoenixville, PA, Michael J. Mangialardi, fiancé of Lisa Wimble of Phoenixville, PA, and Patrick D. Mangialardi of Sacramento, CA; nine grandchildren, Ella and Jake Spear, Luke and Lincoln Mangialardi, Kiley, Evan, and Avery Shank, and Teddy and Kevin Wimble. He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorinda Moore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Deacon George S. Harmansky. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the funeral home, or on Thursday morning from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
