Donald C. Stehman, 87, of Phoenixville, PA died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Season Hospice. He was the widower of Eleanor W. (Waltemyer) Stehman.

He was born in Lower Providence Twp. to the late John L. and Esther (Kopenhaver) Stehman. He was a graduate of Upper Merion High School. Mr. Stehman was a WW II Navy veteran and was employed for many years as a switchman/engineer for Bell Telephone.

In retirement he was a member of the Pioneer Retirees’ Group of Bell Telephone. He also volunteered installing medical alert systems and enjoyed woodworking, caning chairs and playing golf. He always loved tinkering and fixing things.

He is survived by his daughters: Beverly J. Radcliffe, of Cumming, GA and Cheryl L. Shoemaker and husband Rick, of Phoenixville; siblings: Ann Lacy, Robert Stehman, Dale Stehman and Mary Dewey; grandchildren: Jennifer Lutz, Christine Jarvis, and Philip Shoemaker; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by four siblings.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Jeannie M. Hunter. Visitation will be from 11-12:00 PM. Online condolences may be offered at
