Donna (Rowan) Beattie, 66, wife of the late James H. Beattie, of Lower Providence, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in the Montgomery Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Robert K. and Virginia (Ott) Rowan.

Mrs. Beattie was a 1961 graduate of Norristown High School. She was formerly employed as a secretary for the Synthane-Taylor Corp. in Oaks. Mrs. Beattie enjoyed playing poker.

Mrs. Beattie is survived by her daughter, Cynthia L. Beattie, of Lower Providence, two sisters, Wendy T. Rowan, of Phoenixville, and Patricia Roberts, of California.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Interment will follow in the Green Tree Cemetery, Oaks. Friends will be received from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
