Longtime resident of Chester County, Donna Kerwood, passed away peacefully on May 25th at Arbor Terrace Exton after a long illness at the age of 97. She was the loving wife to Ray Kerwood and wonderful mother to sons Stephen Kenna (wife Mari Jo) and Brian Scott (wife Beth). She has four grandsons Christopher, Matthew, Austin, and Tyler as well as four great grandsons Jackson, Matthew, Nash and Ford. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Rebecca Kerwood.

Donna was born January 13, 1926 in Kentucky. After moving to West Virginia as a child she graduated from South Charleston High School. Following high school Donna worked at Kuhm Co. in Charleston, WV as an administrative assistant until her marriage to Ray in 1949. The family lived in Huntington, West Virginia for several years and then Joppa, MD until settling in Chester County where she has resided for over 50 years. From 1980-1988 Donna participated in the running of Alpine Petroleum Co. (Berwyn, PA) as the billing clerk for several years.

Most importantly to Donna was her participation in the establishment of her daughter's foundation, Rebecca Ministries.

Dedicated wife, loving mother, homemaker and above all devoted Christian, Donna will be remembered by her sons as a kind, loving, and always supportive mother who was always there for them to help with school, sports, and church activities. She was the epitome of the best mother a son could ever have.

Donna's funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA. 19460. Friends and family will be received from 10-11am Thursday morning in the funeral home. The graveside service will follow at Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard in Valley Forge.
