Donna Lee (Bules) Murray, age 88, loving wife of the late Edward Conley Murray, Ph.D., of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Born on August 20, 1932 in Peetz, Colorado, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Katherine (Strasrypka) Bules.

Mrs. Murray attended Kearney State College in Nebraska, where she obtained her teaching certificate and met the love of her life, Ed. She was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed gardening, both outside and in her greenhouse. She was a nature lover and enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife around her home. Donna also enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the country and world, but particularly enjoyed their frequent trips to Nebraska and Colorado to visit family. Annual trips to Nebraska and Colorado to visit with family, camp and fish, were annual highlights for her.

They moved frequently, finally settling in Valley Forge, where they spent over 40 years. But, she would always consider the family farm in Gurley, Nebraska, her home. Donna loved her neighbors and enjoyed spending time with them. Most of all, she enjoyed time with her family, both in person, and on the phone with those who were not nearby. She was a loving wife, mother, and dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Mrs. Murray is survived by one son, Edward Collin Murray; one daughter, Kellie Sue Murray-Howe; Two grandchildren; her five siblings, Karl J. Bules Jr. of Chappell, NE, Shirley Jurgens of Sidney, NE, Richard (Connie) Bules of Sidney, NE, and Alice (Jim) Ford of Alliance, NE; sisters-in-law Virginia Bules and Helen Murray; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Donna was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Bules and Ted Dean Bules; brothers-in-law Leon Schwartz, Jerry Jurgens, Louie Murray, and Marvin Sterner, and sisters-in-law Mildred Bules, and Esther Sterner.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name, to the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company, P.O.
