Dora E. Padgett, age 89, wife of the late James S. Padgett, of Spring City, PA, formerly Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at home. Born on May 1, 1928 in Mandern, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Karoline (Knuple) Maneke.

Mrs. Padgett loved Jesus, and had previously attended the GraceCrossing Community Church in Phoenixville. She also loved life, and spending time with her children and family. She liked to have fun, and enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family.

Mrs. Padgett is survived by four daughters, Caroline A., wife of Alan Gephart of Spring City, PA, Janet V., wife of Michael Dunner of New Jersey, Sandra L., wife of Terry Sell of Douglassville, PA, and Tina M., wife of Matthew Miller of Phoenixville, PA; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Padgett was preceded in death by two children, Dora Brenda Padgett and James Stanley Padgett, two grandchildren, and six siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel E. McDowell and Chaplain Thaddaeus T. Hughes. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
