Doris M. (Huston) Moses, 95, wife of the late Lawrence R. "Cy" Moses, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on April 14, 1926 in Spring City, she was a daughter of the late Alice R. (Fager) and Paul R. Huston.

Doris was a Class of 1944 graduate of the former Spring City High School and a 1947 graduate of the former Pottstown Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed as a registered nurse at Pottstown Hospital.

She was a member of the Coventryville United Methodist Church. Doris spent most of her life as a resident of the Spring City area, was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and enjoyed gardening when she was able.

Mrs. Moses is survived by nieces: Gail E., wife of Craig D. Clauser, of West Chester, Nancy M., wife of Donald W. Norris, of Douglassville, and Linda J. Brown, of Gilbert, AZ; nephew: Paul W., husband of Sherry (Pollock) Bean, of Douglassville; numerous sisters-in law, brothers-in law, and additional nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Gary Paul Moses; sister: Twila M. Bean; and nephew: Brian I. Bean.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road, Pottstown. Officiating will be the Rev. Stacey Jones-Anderson. Interment will follow in the Coventryville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 10:45 am Saturday at the Church.
