Dorothea M. Fitzgerald, age 83, Wife of the late Roger P. Fitzgerald, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of Anna and Herman Lederer Sr.

Dorothea retired from a career as an artist and florist. Proud of her German heritage, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafting with her hands on any DYI project. She loved nature, animals, traveling and her Philly sports teams. Most of all she was a loving Mother and Grandmother.

She is survived by her children Matthew Fitzgerald husband of Michele, Michelle Trainor wife of Bill Fulton, Lori Fitzgerald, Nathan Fitzgerald partner of Julia Cox, her two brothers Karl Lederer, Paul Lederer, and her seven Grandchildren Madison and Meredith Fitzgerald, Joshua, Katherine, and Benjamin Trainor, and Spencer and Riley Keihl. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roger Fitzgerald, and her brother Herman Lederer Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Parkerford Baptist Church, 92 Baptist Church Rd, Spring City, PA 19475 on April 19th 2024, at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Davalt. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00am at Parkerford Baptist Church, and are invited to join the family for lunch following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home.
