Dorothy E. (Rutter) Asbert, age 94, wife of the late Edward Asbert, of Collegeville, PA, died early Monday morning, July 30, 2012 in the Sanatoga Center, Pottstown, PA. Born in Conshohocken, PA, she was a daughter of the late George and Frances (McCann) Rutter. She worked at the Phico Ford in Spring City and the CPI plant in Valley Forge for many years. Mrs. Asbert enjoyed traveling with her husband for many years.

Mrs. Asbert is survived by three children: Edward G., husband of Shirley Asbert, of Millsboro, DE; Dennis L., husband of Karen Asbert, of Royersford, PA; Linda J., wife of Richard Gentry, of Sicklerville, NJ; six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Asbert was one of 7 siblings.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
