Dorothy I. (Plotts) Carver, 86, wife of the late Philip L. Carver, of Limerick, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn (Storch) Plotts.

Mrs. Carver was an active member of the Berean Bible Church in Sanatoga. She was a homemaker but was formerly employed at the former Sircon Knitting Co., in Royersford. She loved baking and cooking, sewing, and gardening.

Mrs. Carver is survived by her daughter, Shirley, wife of Edward Harkins, of Schwenksville, son Robert, husband of Christine Carver, of Pottstown, brother Robert, husband of Sandy Plotts, of Limerick, four grandchildren, Kelli Rodriguez, Andrea Brennan, Eddie Harkins, and Robert Carver Jr., and five great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Jace L. Erb. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
