Dorothy A. Driver, age 94, Wife of the late Pastor Miles E. Driver of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the Manatawny Center for Rehab and Nursing, Pottstown, PA. Born in Ripley, TN, she was the daughter of the late Bessie (nee Newman) and Luther Brasfield.
Mrs. Driver was a graduate of Ripley High School and Tennessee Temple Bible College. In her latter years she was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Phoenixville, Pa. She was a dedicated pastors wife, Sunday School teacher, and a teacher in Glencroft Christian School for many years. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. She was a faithful prayer warrior for her family, friends and missionaries. Even in her last days she sat with others while their loved ones passed as told by a Manatawny Manor family member. During the extended suffering of her husband with AIDS she claimed the scripture verses " Dear friends, do not be afraid at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed." 1 Peter 4:12-15. She was ready to meet her Lord and Savior and in this you can rejoice.
Dorothy is survived by her children Millicent Hellman, wife of Carl Hellman, Mark Driver, husband of Mary Lou Driver, her grandchildren Kristin Massey(Doug Massey),Zachary Driver( Pam Driver)her great grandchildren Audrey, Adelyn and Deacon Massey also Milo and Scarlet Driver. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Pastor Miles Driver, and her parents Luther and Bessie Brasfield, brothers Robie, Ralph, and L.E. Brasfield, sisters Rebecca Brasfield, Maggie Tribble, and Shirley Nelson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc..
