Dorothy B. (Bard) Funderwhite, 86, of Royersford, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 20, 1932 in Oaks PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Leroy & Edna (Carter) Bard; and the loving wife of 57 years to the late Russell P. Funderwhite. Dorothy was also a proud employee of the Dettra Flag Company in Oaks for over 35 years. In her spare time Dorothy enjoyed sewing, she was also involved in the Womens sewing group at the Green Tree Church; she enjoyed camping with her family at the Camp-A-While in Hegins, PA, was a member of the Seven Stars Harness Racing Auxiliary, and loved to play cards and puzzles whenever she had the opportunity.

Dorothy is survived by her two children, Deborah A. Connor, wife of Patrick Connor, and Cathy M. Funderwhite; five grandchildren, Joseph Rupert Jr., Brian Rupert, Jennifer Grimm, Sarah Roberts, and Kimberly Snader; five great grandchildren, Harrison Rupert, Lauren Grimm, Dylan Grimm, Elias Roberts, and Norah Roberts; Dorothy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her two children, Russell P. Funderwhite Jr., and Carol D. Snader; she was also preceded in death by her eight siblings, Clifford Bard, William Bard, Floyd Bard, Eleanor Kovach, Anne Franke, Ruth Grisdale, Catherine Kenney, and Elva Bard.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday evening July 27, 2018 from 7-9PM at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 610 S. Main St. Phoenixville PA. 19460. A viewing will also take place on Saturday morning July 28, 2018 from 9:30-10:45AM at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Rd. Oaks PA. 19456. Services will follow the calling time at 11:00AM at the Church. Burial will take place in the Green Tree Cemetery following the services.
