Dorothy C. Miller, age 86, wife of the late Charles R. Miller Jr., of Douglassville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on November 19, 1929 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Clara Schrag.

Mrs. Miller was a resident of New Jersey for most of her life, moving to Asheville, NC for over 20 years, and finally moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family. She loved flowers and gardening, as well as her cats and all types of animals. She enjoyed working on puzzles, cooking family meals, and sewing. She also was an artist, and could be found drawing and painting throughout her life. She liked crafting and making Christmas ornaments. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her granddaughters.

Mrs. Miller is survived by two children, Michelle, wife of Jeff Kern of Rockaway, NJ and Scott Miller of Pottstown, PA; two granddaughters, Tatiana Miller and Chloe Miller; and her beloved cats Ellie and Charcoal. She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Zairo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 3:30 pm. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Burial will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, P.O.
