Dorothy F. (Hookway) Tincher, age 92, passed peacefully on Thursday morning, December 10, 2015 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Royersford, PA to Reuben and Mary Hookway. Dottie worked as a nurse at Pennhurst Center for 31 years and retired in 1984. She belonged to Parker Ford Church of the Brethren. She was a Life member of Gilbertsville Fire House, Gabelsville Club, Ringing Hill Ladies Auxiliary, and Mont/Berks CB Club.

Mrs. Tincher was a loving mother to Kenneth (Renee) Tincher. Dear sister of predeceased siblings, Reuben (Alice) Hookway, Earl Hookway, Doris Crater, Richard (Virginia) Hookway, and living brothers, Charles (June) Hookway, and Raymond Hookway. She was a proud grandmother of 2 grandsons, Kenneth (Alison) Tincher, Jr. and Michael Tincher and 1 great-grandchild, Tyler Tincher, 2 step-granddaughters, Kimberly (Geoff) McCleary and Jeanine (Andrew) Mergen and 5 step great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may visit on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum at the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA. The funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 am. Officiating will be David R. Willauer, retired pastor, Parker Ford Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Angel Flight East, 1501 Narcissa Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422 would be appreciated.
