Dorothy M. Valerio, age 89, wife of Nicholas S. Valerio, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on March 10, 1932 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Swicze) Gill.

In her youth, Mrs. Valerio worked at Lockman's Carpet Factory and Spray Products, Inc. Once she started a family, she spent most of her adult life raising her son and caring for her family. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and arranging flowers. Mrs. Valerio loved cooking, especially around the holidays, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, Mrs. Valerio is survived by one son, Ronald J., husband of Claudia Valerio of Royersford, PA; two grandsons, Nicky, husband of Krista Valerio and Philip Valerio; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Valerio was preceded in death by three siblings, Frances Conwell, Raymond Gill, and Joseph Gill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at the Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. John Hutter. Burial will be held in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Wednesday in the Church.
