Earl Church, Jr., 82, husband of Margaret C. (Miller) Church, of Phoenixville, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008, in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Upper Providence.? Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Earl Church, Sr., and Mabel?Church. ?
Mr. Church served in the United States Navy, and was employed as a police officer for East Vincent Township.?
Mr. Church is survived by three daughters, Catherine M. Bacon, of Royersord, Mary E., wife of Robert Faddis, of Phoenixville, and Brenda L. Pierson, of Pottstown, son, Earl Church, III, husband of Helena, sister, Shirley Forest of Royersford, brother, Barry Church, of Phoenixville, step-daughter, Donna M., wife of Byron Law, of Souderton, step-sons, Richard D. Gillam, of Linfield and Edward Gillam, of Norristown, and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. ?
Funeral services will be held graveside on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 11 AM, at Morris Cemetery.? In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Chester County Heroes Fund, 820 Heatherstone Drive, Berwyn, PA 19312. ?
