Earl M. “Hink” Horner, 85, of Cross Fork, PA and formerly of Linfield, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was the husband of the late Sally E. (Auld) Horner, who died in 2006.
Hink was born in Linfield to the late Earl J. and Florence M. (Linderman) Horner. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Earl was employed for many years with Philadelphia Electric Company, first a lineman and later in the expediting department before retiring.
He was a member of Linfield United Church of Christ, Stichter Lodge #254 F.& A.M. and Pottstown Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #814. In his retirement he moved to Potter County and was an active member of Cross Fork Sportsmen Assoc.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathi L., wife of William F. Pennypacker, of Grantville, PA. Sister, Fay E., wife of the late Henry A. Arms, of Royersford. Grandchildren: Krista Rush, wife of Gary, William Jr., husband of Andrea, Christopher, husband of Amy and Amanda Moore, wife of Peter. Great-Grandchildren: Katlyn, Zachary, Tyler, Aaron, Carly, Aubrey and Alex. He was also predeceased by a son: Michael E. Horner and siblings: Mark Horner and Nancy Heller.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Thomas S. Neilsen. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Fork Sportsmen Assoc., c/o Chuck Cross, 12 Summerson Lane, Renovo, PA 17764.
