Earl W. Stahl, 89, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Einstein Medical Center, East Norriton Twp., PA. He was the husband of the late June L. (Trovinger) Stahl, who died in 2004.

He was born in Schwenksville to the late Harrison R. and Florence (Kirkendall) Stahl. He attended Schwenksville High School and served in the Navy during World War II.

He was employed as a mechanic at Nagle Motors, Sawchuck’s Garage and Kulp and Gordon Trucking.

He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schwenksville. He was also a member of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, Camp #387, Schwenksville, PA, Pike Twp. Sportsmens’ Club and Trappe VFW.

He is survived by a daughter, Joan A. “Nan” Smith and husband David B., of Alburtis, PA; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Earl W. “Bill” Jr., late husband of Sharon (Lantz), of Exeter Twp.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 10-11 AM at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 311 2nd Ave., Schwenksville, PA 19473. Following a P.O.S.of A. service, a memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Daniel M. Schaefer. Burial will follow in Schwenksville Cemetery.
