Earl L. White, 90, formerly of Warwick Twp., passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 8 2012 at Heatherwood Retirement Community. He was the widower of Beulah (Downing) White, who died in September 2009.

He was born in Glenmoore to the late Grover and Edna (Gohean) White. Earl was employed for many years as a crane operator at Bethlehem Steel until his retirement.

He was member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church for over fifty years. He was an active member of the Masonic Fraternity. He was a Past Master (1975) of Mt. Pickering Lodge #446 F&AM; Past Grand Tall of Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest #24 Spring City, PA; Scottish Rite Consistory, Valley of Reading and Rajah Temple of Reading, PA.

He is survived by his daughter, Audrey J. Walls and husband Donald, of Thorndale; son Earl W. White and wife Linda, of Pottstown; and grandchildren: Wane Komnik, Lisa Moore and Stephen White. He was also preceded in death by siblings: Grace, Ruth, Mary, William, Ralph, John and Grover.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11 AM at Mt. Carmel UMC, 2203 Harmonyville Rd., St. Peter's PA 19470. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:44 to 10:45 AM. A masonic service will be held at 10:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the church at the above address.
