Edith M. Krasley, age 96, wife of the late Arthur P. Krasley of Royersford, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Born on August 26, 1926 in Limerick, PA, she was a daughter of the late Horace K. and Sallie R. (Ziegler) Walt.
Edith was a graduate of Royersford High School. Her life revolved around her family, and she took great pride in tending to her children and her home. Once the children were of school age, she worked for the Kimberton Company for 10 years, retiring in 1984. She was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Royersford, and in her later years she attended St. Peter's Pikeland United Church of Christ with her son. She had an affinity for flowers and loved her African violets, caring for the arrangements throughout her home.
Edith is survived by two children, Steven A., husband of Kathy Krasley and Valerie A., wife of the late David Kocher Sr.; two grandsons and one step-granddaughter, David Jr., husband of Victoria Kocher, Steven Kocher, and Heather Khan; one brother, Donald A., husband of Carol Walt; one sister-in-law, Gloria Walt; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Bradley Musser and two brothers, Alyn Walt and Sherel Walt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Hanson. Burial will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home on Saturday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Pillars of Light and Love for the benefit of the So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe, 511 W. Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.
