Obituary

Edna Cook, wife of the late Harry Cook, who died in 1997 and the late Harvey Ulmer, of Royersford, who died in 1979, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Katie (Bartman) Heebner, and attended Royersford schools.

Edna was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Earl Heebner.

She worked at the Royersford Needle Works for five years and retired after thirty four years from the former Diamond Glass as a packer. She was a caregiver in the Boyertown area, enjoyed sewing and baking and was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mont Clare.

Mrs. Cook is survived by one daughter: Kay, wife of Charles Burris, of South Coventry; one son: Richard, husband of LaRue Ulmer, of East Coventry; one step-daughter: Ruth, wife of Leonard Noble, of Warwick; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Bruce Levengood. Interment will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made in Edna's name to Hopewell Community Church, 1130 Commerce Drive, Pottstown, PA 19464. Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
