Edward J. "Spanky" Boucher, age 80, husband of Betty Ann (Fox) Boucher, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at home. Born on July 22, 1944 in Providence, RI, he was a son of the late Loretta (Tetro) and John Boucher.

As a man of deep faith, Mr. Boucher faithfully read his bible each night, and said a prayer before each meal. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Warwick Township.

Mr. Boucher honorably served in the United States Army, voluntarily completing a year-long tour in Vietnam. Spanky worked as a machinist for several local machine shops until his retirement. A top-notch mechanic, he could fix anything and was always tinkering. He loved hunting, boating and fishing, and sharpshooting.

Spanky embraced being the center of attention and he was loved by all. He would specifically seek out others to help and would always put the needs of family and friends before himself.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Mr. Boucher is survived by three children, Debra Boucher, Maryanne, wife of Ronald Ortega Sr., and David, husband of Aimee Boucher; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Evert Boucher; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 East Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA 19468 on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
