Obituary

Edward L. Reilley Sr., 80, husband of Darlene E. (Gilmore) Reilley, of Limerick, PA, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Born in Camden, NJ, he was a son of the late Samuel T. and Eva E. (Corn) Reilley.

Mr. Reilley was a former King of Prussia resident for 50 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a warehouse supervisor at Thriftway Foods, a self-employed carpenter, and retired as a machinist from Alpha Tool. Mr. Reilley was best known for his humor and incredible memory. He enjoyed making people laugh, was an accomplished woodworker, recently mastered counted cross-stitch and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Reilley is survived by four children and spouses, Edward L. Jr. (Connie) Reilley, Lorena R. (James) Hertzog, Brenda Eva (Norm) Hunsberger, and Sandra Joy Groff; his sister, Marjorie J. Young; and brothers, Samuel T. Reilley and James R. Reilley; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lisa, and his sister, Barbara Prince.

Relatives and friends will be received from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by his memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Deacon Joseph Dietz will officiate. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Salvation Army, 701 N.
