Edward P. "Eddie" Merryfield, age 71, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at his home. Born on August 16, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late William T. and Betty N. (Boyce) Merryfield.

Eddie was raised in the Devil's Pocket neighborhood of South Philadelphia. He was a dedicated and valued employee for more than 20 years at T.D. Alfredo's Pizzeria in Phoenixville, a job that brought him immense joy. He could oftentimes be found walking through Phoenixville with a smile on his face.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by four siblings: William Merryfield, Thomas Merryfield, Marie Merryfield, and Joseph Merryfield. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
