Edward J. Pilcicki, age 72, husband of Mary A. (Hutchinson) Pilcicki, of Gilbertsville, PA, died Friday, January 13, 2017 after a very brief illness in Phoenixville Hospital. Born on March 26, 1944 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Wisniewski) Pilcicki. He was a graduate of St. Matthew's High School, Conshohocken, PA and the University of California, Davis, with a BS degree in Geology. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Pilcicki worked as a chemist for Exxon / Mobil before retiring in January, 2015. He was a member of the St. Columbkill's R.C. Church in Boyertown, PA. Ed enjoyed fishing, camping trips, photography, bird watching, and outings with his family.

Predeceased by his daughter, Shannon Pilcicki, Mr. Pilcicki is survived by Mary, his wife of 48 years, and his daughter, Tarah L. Reiff of Gilbertsville, PA; Four Grandchildren, Kylie Reiff, Gabriel Reiff, Dylan Hummel, Cameryn Epler; Six Siblings, John (Lyn) Pilcicki, Joseph (Terry) Pilcicki, Joanne Pilcicki, Jerry (Sharon) Pilcicki, Marie Pilcicki, Tommy (Beth) Pilcicki;

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass at St. Columbkill R.C. Church, 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown, PA on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Martin F. Kern. Burial will be held in the Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown, PA. Friends will be received from 9:45 am - 10:45 am Thursday at the Church.
