Edwin J. Blewitt, age 74, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 surrounded by family. Born in Norristown, he was the son of Kathleen M. Blewitt (Gear) and William A. Blewitt.

Edwin answered the call of duty and proudly served in the United States Army. During his service he was stationed in Germany and worked as a crane operator which later helped build his career as a heavy equipment operator. His passion for heavy equipment carried into his retirement as you could find him driving his backhoe around town doing odd jobs to keep himself busy. He was a long-time member of St. Ann Church. A member of the Local Union 542 and he also coached softball at PYBRL for several years.

He is survived by his children Brandi M. Blewitt, Kathleen F. Blewitt, and Bridget T. Blewitt, his siblings Betty Ann Edwards (Brent), Kathy DeRosado (Buddy) Anthony (Jane), George (Karen) and Joseph Blewitt, 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and his longtime companion Doris. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Kathleen Blewitt, his son William (Bill) A. Blewitt and his brother William A. Blewitt Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
