Edwin Faust Rambo, Jr., 78, of Royersford, died Monday evening, April 4, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Norristown, PA on June 1, 1937 to Edwin F. Rambo, Sr. and Ruth (Epright) Rambo.

Ed graduated from Norristown High School in 1955, where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had a long, post-military career with the Postal Service.

In his younger years, Ed was a volunteer firefighter and life member of the Oaks VFD. He was one of the founders of the Oaks-Audubon Area Youth Athletic Association, where he coached and umpired Little League baseball. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, reading, ballroom dancing with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet (Yocum) Rambo, of Royersford; daughter, Barbara (Rambo) Barattucci, of Limerick, PA; two sons, Kyle Rambo, of Leonardtown, MD and Drew, husband of Jamie Rambo, of Carver, MA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
