Elaine Joy (Ludwig) Turns, age 53, wife of Charles Turns Sr., passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of Charles E. Ludwig Sr. of Phoenixville and the late Margaret W. (Benjamin) Ludwig. Elaine enjoyed crocheting, reading, taking walks, bible study, and going to yard sales.

Elaine is survived by four children, Jonathan Althouse and Heather Althouse, both of Cochranville, Justin Kolar of Mont Clare, and Charles Turns Jr. of Harrisburg; three sisters, Mary Ludwig, Deborah, wife of Joseph Ferretti, and Winifred, wife of Christopher Pas; two brothers, Charlie Ludwig Jr., and Franklin, husband of Paula Ludwig; seven nephews, and one niece. She was preceded in death by one niece and one nephew.

At this time, there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
