Elaine (Bond) Moore, age 84, wife of the late John K. Moore, Sr., of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill. Born on January 28, 1936 in Bryn Mawr, she was a daughter of the late Anna L. (Barsby) and Henry H. Bond, Sr.

A graduate of Haverford High School, Class of 1953, Elaine dedicated her life to her home and family. She had been a member of the Kimberton Fire Co., where she had been active with the Ladies Auxiliary, was a former Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop 49 in Kimberton and volunteered with Kimberton Youth Athletic League. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 38 Auxiliary, Schuylkill Haven. Prior to settling in Pottsville, Elaine lived in Phoenixville and Royersford, Pennsylvania as well as Loxahatchee and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her sons: John K. Moore, Jr., husband of Denise R. (White) Moore, of Phoenixville, Dwight J. Moore, husband of Amanda K. (Kiefer) Moore, of Pottsville and Chad M. Moore, husband of Diane E. (Lynn) Moore, of Royersford; grandchildren: Nicole Moore, Austin Moore, Skylynn Moore, Shane Otto, Charleena Moore and Kelsey Otto; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her siblings: Anna Virgillio, Jean Peterson, Marion Mattson, Dorothy McElwee and Henry Bond, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the East Vincent U.C.C. pavilion, 282 Hill Church Road, Spring City, PA, on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Dale Krotee. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville. Contributions may be made in Elaine's name to the American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
