Eleanor A. DiFrancesco, age 88, wife of the late John DiFrancesco, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Margaret (Hunsberger) and Anthony Tangrea.

Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her first priority was her family who meant so much to her. She was very creative and artistic, enjoying painting, decorating, and arts and crafts. She wrote poetry whenever she felt inspired, and in true Eleanor fashion, her poems were about what she cared about most - her family. She painted many Santa Claus sleds that could be seen on her family and friends' porches each Christmas season. She was a long-time member of the Audubon Women's Club.

Eleanor is survived by her five children Susan LoMagro, Diane (Peter) Paolucci, Linda (Scott) Brown, John (Carol) DiFrancesco, Robert (Kelli) DiFrancesco, her four siblings Antonia Ferraro, Margaret Torrence, Joseph Tangrea, Bob Tangrea, her nine Grandchildren Nicholas, C.J., Jenna, Regina, Jessica, Matt, Sarah, Giuliana, Devon, her seven Great Grandchildren Giovanni, Abigail, Lucia, Raegan, Filomena, Aria, Coleman and her two Grand dogs Lana and Millie. She was preceded in death by loving husband John DiFrancesco, and her parents Anthony Tangrea, Margaret (Hunsberger) Tangrea.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM at Visitation B.V.M. 196 N Trooper Rd, Eagleville, PA 19403. Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Norristown, PA. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home.
