Elizabeth "Betty" J. Barnes, age 94, wife of the late Robert F. "Bob" Barnes, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 in the Wayne Center, Wayne, PA. Born on August 11, 1927 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Esther (Brittain) Reifsnyder.

Betty was a 1945 graduate of Phoenixville High School and married the love of her life, Bob, on September 10, 1949. She worked as a secretary for the Phoenixville Junior High School for 26 years before her retirement and volunteered at the Phoenixville Hospital for several years after retirement. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, going for walks, reading and shopping. Betty always loved spending time with family, especially cooking and baking for the Sunday family meals and special holiday meals.

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by three children, Jane A., wife of the late Frank Paris of Chester Springs, PA, Robert S., husband of Sharon Barnes of Malvern, PA, and Jeffrey R. Barnes of Phoenixville, PA; two grandchildren, Scott Paris and Laura, wife of Dan Shadow; two great-grandsons, Ben and Jack; two sisters, Terry, wife of Dr. Michael Mandarino and Wendy, wife of Robert Streubing, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Huffy" Reifsnyder and John "Jack" Reifsnyder.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service for both Bob and Betty at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. James R. Roth. Burial will be private. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation, P.O.
