Elizabeth R. "Bette" (Hamilton) Berkowitz, age 75, wife of Ira Berkowitz of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, formerly Collegeville, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 4, 1950, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Emily (Reed) and John William Hamilton.

Bette had been the Banquet Manager and co-General Manager with her husband at the former Collegeville Inn for many years prior to employment as support staff in the Methacton School District until her retirement.

In addition to her loving husband of 47 years, Bette is survived by her children: Laura Jacquelyn, wife of Frank Gunson and Joshua Michael Berkowitz; grandchildren: Samantha, wife of David Acevedo, Austin, husband of Avery Gunson, and Isabelle Gunson; great-grandchildren: Benjamin and Eleanor Acevedo; and sister: Jacqueline Hamilton partner of Sharron Kilburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
