Elizabeth A. Shunk, 97, of Devault, PA died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Carl W. Shunk.
She was born in Chester County to the late Harry and Rose (Quigley) Sload. Mrs. Shunk was an electrical assembler for the Budd Company and also for Automation Industries in King of Prussia. She also helped her family in their operation of the tavern at the Exton Hotel and was also a talented seamstress.
She is survived by sons: Carl W. Shunk (Marilyn), of Levita, CO and John W. Shunk (Carol), of Pottstown; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
