Ellen Mae Brown, age 90, wife of the late Stanley Brown of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Danville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eliza (Degreen) and Orville Miller.
Ellen was a graduate of Danville High School, and retired after 23 years as a brake helper at Penco Products. After retirement Ellen and her late husband Stanley enjoyed spending time at their winter home in Eustis, Florida. They cherished the warmth and sunshine, but most importantly visits from loved ones. Upon their return home every spring you could always expect a bag of fresh blood oranges. In Ellen's free time she enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and spending time with family and loved ones. Ellen and her late husband Stanley enjoyed dinners out, playing card games, fishing, as well as vacationing whether it was on a luxury cruise or at a campground.
Ellen is survived by her children Susan Sennott, Stanley Jr. "Butch" Brown, husband of Deborah, Edward Brown, husband of Donna, and Barry Brown, husband of Kimberly. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Evans, and her siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Luis Miro. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Malvern, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
