Ellen Elaine Fredericks, 39, of Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in her residence. Born in Newton, NJ, she was a daughter of Calvin L. and Carolyn S. (Schneider) Fredericks, of Royersford.

Ms. Fredericks was a graduate of Wallkill Valley Regional High School and received her B.S. in Communications from Rowan University. She was a first grade teacher at Solis-Cohen Elementary School in the Philadelphia School District. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. Her passions were her daughters, whom she loving adopted, the calling and challenge of teaching at inner city schools, and her Church Family.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Fredericks is survived by two daughters, Kyseema and June Fredericks, her sister, Susan, wife of Brian Hackett, of Gilbertsville, nephew Calvin J. Hackett, aunts and uncles, Judy and Vernie Curtis, of Evansville, IN, Gary and Donna Schneider and Wayne and Sharon Fredericks, of Gallatin, TN, and Robert and Dimma Fredericks, of Rensselaer, NY, Great-Aunt, Esther Losey, of Augusta, NJ, and several cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 66 South Limerick Road, Royersford, PA, on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be the Pastor Gil Trusty. Friends will be received from 1:00-1:30 p.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Ellen's name to her daughters' education fund by making checks payable to Kyseema and June Fredericks, 54 Presidential Dr., Royersford, PA 19468.
