Emily Sanial Hunt, age 47, wife of Bradford Hunt and mother of Presley, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at home. Born on August 11, 1977 in Groton, CT, she was the daughter of Patricia (Beach) Sanial of Cherry Hill, NJ, and the late James Sanial.

Emily was a 1994 graduate of Cherry Hill High School West, where she was active in the marching band and color guard. She had a passion for healthcare and medicine, so she attended Villanova University and earned a bachelor's degree in biology. She was fully invested in her college career both academically and socially, a supporter of all things Villanova and a founding member of the Eta Chi chapter of the Alpha Delta Phi sorority at Villanova.

Emily had an accomplished career as a project manager in pharmaceuticals, first at Merck, followed by a time at Wyeth until they were acquired by Pfizer. Emily's 25-year career in the industry included work in rare diseases research and other clinical trials, which allowed her to use her copious leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Emily was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Boston Red Sox, and Villanova basketball. She was very passionate about practicing yoga, so much so that she earned a teaching certificate and taught others for several years.

Emily loved to experience the world and she travelled with family and with friends, always creating memories along the way. Whether it was adventures in Europe, the USA or trips to the beach, Emily always left a place better than when she found it, and the people she met were better for it too.

Emily will be remembered as a mother who treasured her daughter, Presley. Emily had many sources of joy in her life, but watching Presley grow and learn was her truest passion. She found a true delight in being around her daughter, and together Bradford, Emily and Presley created a loving, caring and supportive family.

Emily was a social and outgoing person who cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She committed a lot of time to her relationships and had long enduring friendships from her career, high school and college years.

Emily was both creative and intelligent. She would regularly complete the NY Times crossword puzzles, and her passion for photography has produced some beautiful work that has helped to document parts of her life for the past 10 years.

Through her decade-long battle with breast cancer, Emily has been an inspiration to many, showing great courage and determination in the face of mounting challenges she bravely pressed on. Emily demonstrated unwavering support for advocacy and innovation. She devoted her volunteer efforts to the nonprofit METAvivor Research and Support, Inc., a group devoted to women with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

In addition to her husband and mother, Emily is survived by one daughter, Presley P. Hunt; three siblings, Gregory, husband of Eva Habetinova, Christine, wife of Jeff Tate, and Linda, wife of Michael Beluch; nieces and nephews, Sydney, Alexandra, Charley, Jacqueline, Samuel, Katherine, Hayley, and Russell; her mother-in-law, Patricia, wife of the late John Hunt; and her brother-in-law, Mark, husband of Tara Hunt and their children, Olivia and Madeline.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, 145 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas N. Hagler. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM at the Church on Friday morning.
