Obituary

Emma T. Eggeling, 85, wife of the late John E. Eggeling, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Martha Manor where she had last resided.

She was born in Phoenixville to the late Morris E. and Florence G. (Reitnour) Tyson. She was a member of the Phoenixville High School Class of 1943 where she was on the National Honor Society. Emma was employed for many years as a secretary for the practice of Dr. John F. McGavick of Rosemont.

Emma was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Phoenixville, PA and also a member of the Business and Professional Women of Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her children: Deborah M. Ullman and husband Robert, of York; Penni L. Bogda and husband Jerry, of West Chester, PA; James E. Eggeling and wife Gail, of Pottstown; William A. Eggeling and wife Claire, of Phoenixville; and Larry T. Eggeling and wife Brenda, of Pottstown; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a sister, Ellen Hallman.

Her Funeral Service will be held at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Calling time is from 10-11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Linda S. Gruber. Burial will follow in St. Matthew's UCC Cemetery, Chester Springs, PA. Online condolences may be offered at www.phoenixvillefuneralhome.com
