Eric Salgado, age 28, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Phoenixville Hospital. Born on February 4, 1993 in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of Guadalupe Mendez-Juarez and Alfredo Salgado-Santos, of Phoenixville.
Eric was a Class of 2011 graduate of Phoenixville Area High School, where he enjoyed playing on the soccer team. He was most employed by Mecca Furniture in Allentown. Over the years, he had been in management at several jobs, but always treated each employee as if they were all co-workers.
Eric was a great friend, son, brother and father who loved his friends and family. A true gentleman and a best friend to many, Eric was caring, loved doing things for others and was so compassionate. He loved to sing, make others laugh, was not afraid to show emotion, and never lost an argument with anybody. He also loved to eat and drink tequila.
Most importantly, Eric absolutely adored his son. He made sure he did everything for him and gave him everything that he could.
In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his son: Reyes Harry Salgado; sister: Denise M. Salgado, of Phoenixville; nephew: Richard A. Tilley; paternal grandparents: Margarita Gallardo-Santos and Andres Salgado, of Mexico; and maternal grandmother: Reyna Juarez, of Mexico.
