Obituary

Eric Z. Wishnick, age 29, of Eagleville, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born on February 21, 1990 in Long Branch, NJ, he was a son of Daniel B. and Sandra (Apking) Wishnick of Cumming, GA.

Eric graduated with his bachelor's degree from Penn State University. He worked as an IT Analyst at Global Tax Management in Wayne, PA, and along with his co-workers, he would participate and volunteer for Autism Speaks walks. He loved working in the IT field, enjoyed anything having to do with computers and technology, and was an Android fan while despising Apple products. He was a self-proclaimed movie buff, and was an avid bowler. He loved his pet bird, as well as all animals, was very social and outgoing, and enjoyed being around his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by one sister, Sarah Wishnick of Decatur, GA; three uncles, Theodore Apking of MI, Michael, husband of Tara Apking of OH, and Paul, husband of Wendy Wishnick of NJ; five cousins, Alex, Leah, and Cole Apking and Josh and Shelley Wishnick; maternal grandfather, Theodore Apking; paternal grandfather, Hyman Wishnick; and his loving girlfriend, Tess O'Hara. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jean Davis, and his paternal grandmother, Frieda Wishnick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Autism Speaks Walk, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
