Erwin C. Breithaupt Jr., 88, formerly of Newtown Square, died on June 28, 2011 at Devon Senior Living Center. He was the husband of Esther "Terry" (Findlay) Breithaupt with whom he shared sixty one years of marriage.

He was born in Athens, PA to the late Erwin C. Sr. and Pearl (Hoag) Breithaupt. Erwin served honorably in the Army Aircorps. during World War II. Mr. Breithaupt was also a graduate of Drexel University School of Commerce and Engineering. His employment included positions at the Naval Shipyard, W.C. Smith, Gilbert Inc., and Philadelphia Electric.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Carl Breithaupt and wife Julie, of Rose Valley, PA and Marietta "Sunny" Johnson and husband Rob, of Winnemucca, NV; brothers: Richard H. Breithaupt and wife Elizabeth, of Sepulveda, CA and William Breithaupt and wife Joyce, of San Antonio, TX, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
