Esther L. Churgai, 88, of Royersford, died on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was the widow of Francis P. Churgai.

She was born in Norristown to the late Charles and Louise (Cantello) Griffo. She was employed for many years as an assembler at Dettra Flag. She had also been a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, Royersford.

She is survived by daughters: Barbara Witt, of Temperanceville, VA and Anna Churgai, of California; son, Francis J. Churgai and wife Suzanne, of Mohrsville, PA; sister, Dolores Hartley, of Trooper; brothers: Patrick Griffo and wife Mafalda, of Norristown and Samuel Griffo and widow of Kay, of Haverford; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Anna (Griffo) Ronca and Thomas Griffo.
