Ethel P. Ravis, 96, wife of the late William Ravis, of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Perkiomen Junction, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Pearl (Bodnar) Cengeri.

Mrs. Ravis graduated from Phoenixville High School. She was employed for many years at the BF Goodrich Co. in Oaks as a secretary, then worked as a seamstress from her home. Mrs. Ravis was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Phoenixville. Her great loves were her Lord, her husband, her family, and her cooking and sewing.

Mrs. Ravis is survived by two sons, Dr. William R. Ravis, husband of Vicki, of Auburn, Ala., the Rev. Richard B. Ravis, husband of Patsy, of Edison, N.J.; two granddaughters, Nicole Tole and Dr. Julie Sams; five great-grandchildren, Olivia, W. Harrison, Sarah Elizabeth, Jacob, and Georgia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Calvary Bible Church, 110 Valley Park Road, Phoenixville, on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:00-10:00 AM at the church. Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Calvary Bible Church.
