Eugene E. Atkinson, age 88, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 in the Sanatoga Center. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Grace (nee Vroman) and Benjamin Atkinson.

Eugene was a graduate of Royersford Highschool, and retired as a nursing aid at Pennhurst. He served Honorably for the United States Air Force. "Gene" was a resident of the Sanatoga Center for many years and loved dogs.

Eugene is survived by his sister in law Doris Atkinson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Atkinson, Grace (Vroman) Atkinson, and his siblings Alice Thacker, Dorothy Thacker, Betty Yost, Robert Atkinson, Benjamin Atkinson, Albert Atkinson, and Donald Atkinson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home.
