Eugene M. "Gene" Capor, age 71, husband of Rosalynn (Breeger) Capor, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Born on November 30, 1950 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Michael Capor of Murrysville, PA and the late Jane (Czapor) Capor.

Mr. Capor was a graduate of Gateway High School in Monroeville, PA, and received his Bachelor's degree in Science from the Penn State University. He worked his entire career for Sherwin-Williams Paints, and rising through the ranks over the years, he most recently worked as a district finance manager. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the local sportsman club and the NRA, and he enjoyed hunting, target shooting, archery, fishing, and skiing. He was a talented violinist, loved anything with an engine such as planes and trains, and working on his computer. Mr. Capor active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Royersford, PA, and served on several committees.

In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Capor is survived by one sister, Darlene, wife of Ralph Beatty of Murrysville, PA; two nephews, Gregory, husband of Caitlin Beatty and Lt. Col. Christopher, husband of Jess Beatty; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews. On his wife's side, Mr. Capor is survived by his mother-in-law, Emma Breeger of Royersford, PA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald, husband of Beverly Breeger of New Fairfield, CT; two nieces, Laura, wife of Doug Berendsohn and Jocelyn, wife of Timothy Lehmacher; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main Street at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, PA on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:00 am. Masks will be required to enter the Church. Officiating will be Rev. Janelle L. Krais and Deacon Allison Wilcox. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 10:45 am in the Church Welcome Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Grace Evangelical Church, 594 Church St., 1st Floor, Royersford, PA 19468, or to the Royersford Library, 200 South Fourth Avenue, Royersford, PA 19468.
